National Annual General Meeting, Nelson 31 March 2012

There seemed to be approx 15 Marlborough members present for the Meeting but it could have been more than that, it was difficult to tell, there didn't  seem to be any cohesive effort to make sure everyone was included and kept informed as to where the other Marlborugh members were and what everyone was doing.
Mike Dew, ex-Canterbury Branch Coordinator was elected as the new National President.
Howard Mansell remains as vice President.
Jim Furneaux (Wellington) was presented with Life Membership.
Murray Hawke (Canterbury) was presented with the Odyssey Medal
Next years AGM (2013) meeting will be in Rotorua, the theme for their evening function will be 'Beach Party' - sounds awesome!
It was announced that the 2016 AGM will be held in Marlborough!

The meeting finally started one and a half hours LATE!

Waiting waiting waiting....

still waiting.......

March mid-month dinner @ East Coast Inn

Eight members, fabulous food, loads of laughs and what was the story about the HUGE dessert portion for Allan (Jo even had to help him finish it) and the TINY portion for Grant & Gloria?
Mmmm, two spoonfuls each!
A really good evening ride in warm conditions, what a shame daylight savings is coming to an end.

Grant, Gloria, Allan, Pete, Dave, Jane, John, Jo.

Bit of bribery and corruption going on with the chef I reckon

Marlborough members @ Canterburys Goose Bay weekend

9 Marlborough members enjoyed Canterbury Branch hospitality at their Goose Bay weekend in February.

Really good weekend, great to catch up with Ulysses friends from neighbouring Branches.
